To celbrate Debra's birthday, we decided to visit Tellico Plains since she had never been there.
We headed out not in any particular big hurry since we planned to stop at the Tellico Plains Bakery to pickup a couple of sack lunches.
I had told her how great it was when the three "Phototeers" had eaten there and I knew she was going to love it.
It didn't take long for them to make both of the sandwiches and bag them to go.
We then headed up to Indian Boundry Lake for our outdoor social distancing picnic. I had originally planned for us to eat under the shelter overlooking the lake, but there was a large group utilizing it.
We then circled around and found an isolated picnic table that was in the shade. We broke out the lunches and spread them on the table.
Debra loved her sandwich and I as usual loved mine also.
After we ate, we went back toward Tellico Plains and turned off on the road going to Bald River Falls. Again, this was a place she had never been but had seen my images of it.
She loved the falls and we walked across the bridge so she could get a good view of it. However, we didn't stay very long because there were several more people coming in and we wanted to avoid the crowd.
All in all, it was an enjoyable celebration of her birthday.
