Dateline: July 10, 2020
Being in the middle of the summer heatwave, we decided to go anywhere that required a hike of more than five minutes. So, we saddled up and headed toward Bald River Falls not far from Tellico Plains, TN.
We went up the US-64 highway along the Ocoee River and made a stop at the Cypress trees in Parksville Lake. They were really beautiful green with the lake being a great background.
We stopped at the Ocoee kayak course, but there was no water flow so we headed on down the road and stopped at Ocoee Dam #2 which some water coming on the spillway, but it was nothing to write home about.
After we got back on the road, we headed on up to Bald River Falls and shot from several different angles, however, the sun was against us and blew out many of the shots.
All in all, it was a so-so day of photography, but it was good just to get out and about.
